Wow – what can I say! I attended the Belong half-day retreat with the hope of de-stressing and unplugging from the world to reset, and it did not disappoint. A fantastic event, beautifully organised. I met some wonderful people, and Lamorna was a truly exceptional host.

Better than Brunch and Weekly Unwind

Brunch- what can I say? I didnt know I needed it until I went. I always loved the idea of wellness but it always seemed too much of a commitment. BTB showed me it is not. Its not hippy. Its time for yourself but not by yourself. Its led by the most wholesome and down to earth lady, Lamorna, who teaches you what you need for yourself with logical, relatable words and activities. No spells or witchcraft. Lamorna has a way of bringing a room full of strangers together with gentleness, humour and accessible methods to help you look after yourself. Its 4hrs to take small steps to do better for yourself. Nothing hippy dippy. Just straight up ways to reconnect with your mind, body and with other guys and gals.

Weekly Unwind… if you’ve never done a sound bath I implore you to try it. If you’ve always wondered what meditation feels like but never been able to achieve it (me!) This will get you as close as you can. You get comfortable and let the sounds reverberate around your ears, mind and body until your thoughts dimish. Trust me, they do. Afterwards we so some simple exercises to improve your mental wellbeing. You know, the stuff you always want to do but never actually do. Some quiet guided journalism, breathing etc. Its a must. Trust.

I had such a wonderful experience at Belong Hereford! I started with a yoga session that was incredibly grounding, the instructor Chi has the best vibes and made the practice feel really welcoming. Afterwards, I stayed for a sound bath with Lamorna who was clearly very passionate about what she does and radiated pure kindness. The combination of the yoga and sound bath helped me become present and left me feeling peaceful, centred, and rejuvenated. I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking to unwind, reconnect with themselves, and soak up some positive energy! ✌🏻💛

After many weeks of non stop work, stress and sleepless nights, I attended Belong’s “Better than Brunch” half day retreat hosted by Lamorna in an attempt to “Unplug to Recharge” and it was absolutely amazing. For the first time in who knows how long, I wasn’t thinking about work. I wasn’t worrying about client correspondence or emails coming in. I was completely disconnected to what felt like another version of me; the “Work” me. Every aspect of the retreat was excellent, and I left feeling more re-charged, positive and energetic than I had in months, with not only having the experience of the retreat but also techniques to help reduce stress through constructive journaling (stress being a real struggle for me) some excellent tips and information on improving my diet (and as such, improving my well being – Lamorna truly is an excellent nutrionist) and a real sense of “Belong” within the community that Lamorna has created.
